Where to start??

Hi everyone!

Sorry to let everybody down !My plan was (and still is) to keep my blog running, but the time (what time??) just doesn't let me do it !

If anybody out there is reading my blog , or just about to start here is why i started it!
I got injured on Aug 14 2011 ! Couldn't really go anywhere ,so i decided to blog.

Lot of changed since then! Started working back in February and i wasn't looking back!
My injured( and the one that suppose to be healthy) Achilles still bothers me, but I'm definitely trying
to forget that part of my life!

Looking back i remember reading how close to 90% wannabe bloggers quit after few months and i also remember thinking how i wont be the one of them.
I'm not sure if someone that has 3 posts a year can be called a blogger ,but I'm trying :))))))))))))))))))))))

Love of my life is probably happier than i with the fact that i can finally help around the house and with the kids!?
Yes , i said kids! All 3 of them are growing up fast!
My oldest son turned 5 back in April and is proudly attending  SK!
My princess just turned 4 back in September, the same day as my younger son turned 2!?!
Both of them, Christmas presents to my wife:)))))))))) you owe me baby !

Looks like that my older boy will be a soccer crazy dude like his dad!
My princess is definitely crazy, but I'm not sure for what yet:)))

And my youngest, no comment :)))

I love my kids!

Have a great day everyone!

GOTCHAAA!

You all were thinking that was it! well ,think again?

As I said before , I will try to blog about daily life and sports. And that can't go without
saying something about my awesome kids!(I have to put up another picture of them, they are growing fast :)) )

I already mentioned that I'm a soccer fun and I 'm really trying to make  my older boy like that sport too! And he likes it! BUT, i think he really likes hockey too ! Which should be normal for all kids born and raised in Canada.

We recently went to a hockey game , first one for both of us( ya I know, we went to our Toronto FC game together for the first time too) and he was going crazy! He is almost FIVE !!!
The one thing that makes me happy about this hockey thing is , he was going crazy at the soccer games we went to watch together!

So, wait a minute?!?!? Is he crazy or just crazy about sports :)))))))))))  Ooo Marko , Marko , I love you buddy!
If he only knew i already got the tickets for us to ,to go see Harlem Globetrotters on his 5th birthday!

Yes , I know, I know he will go crazy again , but this time I will go crazy too , because i never sawthem before either!

One word went thru my head as I was thinking what should I write next and made me laugh, LEMONTINES !
Yap, that's how my daughter calls Valentines day, and it was really  confusing when , she, couple of days after Valentines day asked for " LEMONTINES CANDY" :)))))

Good luck figuring that one right away !

Not giving up yet(on this blog :)))

Well , not sure how to start this, but i will try, LIFE IS GOOD !  Again!

Honestly, i don't really feel like going back to check on what i was writing about
last time i came across this blog :)) , but I will tell you that your leg may never go back
to "normal" , but your life definitely will!

THANK GOOD!

I started working on January 30 and that was exactly 6 months after i received my last pay cheque!!! Not Fun!

Right now I'm just happy that I'm able to do what i was doing before(PORN STAR) :)))) and finally helping my wife stirring this ship in the right direction!

My leg feels great, but not 100%. My surgeon said to not even try to push off my toes
or run before April!
Also , if anybody that is reading this would like to see the pictures of my tendon right after surgery and now, please let me know?

Now that my life is going back to normal and my injury  almost healed, I'm not sure
for how long i will be doing this, but i will try to blog about my life in general, my family, work and soccer :)))

For anyone that just had this bad injury i would suggest to listen to your Dr. and especially your body!
Believe me , it is not cliche when they say , you will know when you are ready!

Good luck everyone, it is 12:45 am and the time to go to bed!
Wife , if you read this one day, you are still in the States shopping and i wish i can wait for you, but I'm tired :)))))))))) Love you

Sorry for the delay!

Just over 2 months since my last post and so much has changed!  I remember, on one of the blog
forums , somebody asked me if i  would continue to blog after i get better, i replied , of course , i like this!

Well, i still like it , but ,once i started walking again i just didn't have any time .My leg feels OK , no pain!
My  range of motion is great, but the leg doesn't look that great, still very swollen, 12 weeks after surgery!?!

My plan is to go back to work in the next couple of weeks and basically get everything back to normal,
   like before the surgery.
When i hurt my self , it really seemed like , my life stopped!  Like i said before i work in construction
and people that know what i do , keep telling me that i may not be able to do what i did before the injury.
That's why I  keep thinking about what else should i try when I'm ready to go back??Any ideas ???

I'm happy that the worse part is behind me and i can finally help my wife with kids and everything
else around the house!
You never know how many people are actually following you, but i apologize to everybody that was
 waiting for my next post!

Linda thanks for your comment ! It reminded me i have a blog to write :))))  ( i disabled word verification, thanks) .

Nothing New

Huh , another day of watching TV , browsing Internet and doing nothing! I'm exhausted !!

I mean there is definitely worse things in life then ATR ,but this really SUCKS! I have to admit that browsing the net i found lot of people who have this injury ,but there is nobody in their household to help them with the things that most of us "weekend warriors" married guys take for granted.   My AWESOME  wife is dealing with  4 kids ( me being the 4-Th )  and i know she is thrilled :))))))))))))))))))
about that.

The best thing right now is that mom just arrived ( she is staying with us for 6 months) and she is able to help my AWESOME wife a lot with everything.
Right now my AWESOME  wife is having well deserved 'girls night out' and everybody else  is sleeping ( i have my naps thru the day, so you can expect another post in about 4 hours :)))  )

Hmm it's 9:57 pm and soccer report is about to start ?? Yes i said soccer. Second most important thing in life, right after Texas hold'em (just kidding wife) .
My wife keeps telling me that my soccer career s over, but I'm not ready for that. I mean , i don't want to go thru this ever again ,  but i love the game. For the last 12 years most of my injuries ( if not all of them) came from soccer.

Is that the SIGN?? Should i retire?? I mean , i suck at soccer , but  I'm giving my best. Twenty years ago i was much better :))))))))))
You know what ?? I'm really starting to like this. Blogging!!

I wish it didn't take a such serious injury to start doing this, but i hope that i will have the time to this after i get better and start working.
(trying to get that soccer report of my mind, but i know there is a rerun at 11pm )

I would like to know what other people with similar injuries are doing most of the day and is there a legit way of making money online(besides blogging). Betting maybe :))))))))))
I totally forgot !! I took a picture of my injured leg  and  i didn't upload it. Just wanted to see if you people think , does it look  OK 4 weeks after surgery??

Once you are on my blog , don't hesitate to check out all the awesome adds there. :))   It may help sending my kids to school ( i have a feeling it won't be enough).
You know , i really think i run out of patience. I hate to admit that , because it is only 5 weeks and i have at least another 10 to go , like this. So right now all i have is my humour and sarcasm and you have to live with that :))
Good night

What patience !??!?!

Well, it's 5 weeks since my Achilles tendon surgery and everything looks great. Last night was the first night since the surgery that i went to bed without cast or the boot (yeaaah). Probably shouldn't have done that ,but i did it and it felt awesome. There is a good chance that my injured leg is going to get a nice wash today( first time since the injury).
I really would like to now ( especially because i just started this blog) if there is anybody  from Canada  that is following this blog and had same kind of injury.
Most of the blogs that i read online seem to be from the US and it really takes a lot longer for them to get into the boot after a surgery than for us here in Canada. Of course there is  no chance that all Achilles tendon ruptures are the same and I'm sure they will not be    treated      the same way.
Please post your experiences with this injury and treatment you received or somebody you know.
I also wanted to know if i need physio after all this, because my surgeon doesn't think so ( or i misunderstood him ).
You know, one thing everybody is saying is " Don't push it ! This type of injury takes a long time to heal".
Well, what exactly is pushing  it !?!?
I don't have any pain, i dumped pain killers 2 days after the surgery, i can move my toes with no problems and there is small foot movement, also without any pain!!! ( yeah , i take my boot sometimes during the day and try all this things :)) ) Wait, is that maybe "pushing it " everybody is talking about :)))) i  hope not.
Yeah, i almost forgot
on Sep. 27 i have another appointment with my surgeon and i would really apreciate if i can get any feedback before that?
 Thanks
