Sorry for the delay!

Just over 2 months since my last post and so much has changed!  I remember, on one of the blog
forums , somebody asked me if i  would continue to blog after i get better, i replied , of course , i like this!

Well, i still like it , but ,once i started walking again i just didn't have any time .My leg feels OK , no pain!
My  range of motion is great, but the leg doesn't look that great, still very swollen, 12 weeks after surgery!?!

My plan is to go back to work in the next couple of weeks and basically get everything back to normal,
   like before the surgery.
When i hurt my self , it really seemed like , my life stopped!  Like i said before i work in construction
and people that know what i do , keep telling me that i may not be able to do what i did before the injury.
That's why I  keep thinking about what else should i try when I'm ready to go back??Any ideas ???

I'm happy that the worse part is behind me and i can finally help my wife with kids and everything
else around the house!
You never know how many people are actually following you, but i apologize to everybody that was
 waiting for my next post!

Linda thanks for your comment ! It reminded me i have a blog to write :))))  ( i disabled word verification, thanks) .

Nothing New

Huh , another day of watching TV , browsing Internet and doing nothing! I'm exhausted !!

I mean there is definitely worse things in life then ATR ,but this really SUCKS! I have to admit that browsing the net i found lot of people who have this injury ,but there is nobody in their household to help them with the things that most of us "weekend warriors" married guys take for granted.   My AWESOME  wife is dealing with  4 kids ( me being the 4-Th )  and i know she is thrilled :))))))))))))))))))
about that.

The best thing right now is that mom just arrived ( she is staying with us for 6 months) and she is able to help my AWESOME wife a lot with everything.
Right now my AWESOME  wife is having well deserved 'girls night out' and everybody else  is sleeping ( i have my naps thru the day, so you can expect another post in about 4 hours :)))  )

Hmm it's 9:57 pm and soccer report is about to start ?? Yes i said soccer. Second most important thing in life, right after Texas hold'em (just kidding wife) .
My wife keeps telling me that my soccer career s over, but I'm not ready for that. I mean , i don't want to go thru this ever again ,  but i love the game. For the last 12 years most of my injuries ( if not all of them) came from soccer.

Is that the SIGN?? Should i retire?? I mean , i suck at soccer , but  I'm giving my best. Twenty years ago i was much better :))))))))))
You know what ?? I'm really starting to like this. Blogging!!

I wish it didn't take a such serious injury to start doing this, but i hope that i will have the time to this after i get better and start working.
(trying to get that soccer report of my mind, but i know there is a rerun at 11pm )

I would like to know what other people with similar injuries are doing most of the day and is there a legit way of making money online(besides blogging). Betting maybe :))))))))))
I totally forgot !! I took a picture of my injured leg  and  i didn't upload it. Just wanted to see if you people think , does it look  OK 4 weeks after surgery??

Once you are on my blog , don't hesitate to check out all the awesome adds there. :))   It may help sending my kids to school ( i have a feeling it won't be enough).
You know , i really think i run out of patience. I hate to admit that , because it is only 5 weeks and i have at least another 10 to go , like this. So right now all i have is my humour and sarcasm and you have to live with that :))
Good night

What patience !??!?!

Well, it's 5 weeks since my Achilles tendon surgery and everything looks great. Last night was the first night since the surgery that i went to bed without cast or the boot (yeaaah). Probably shouldn't have done that ,but i did it and it felt awesome. There is a good chance that my injured leg is going to get a nice wash today( first time since the injury).
I really would like to now ( especially because i just started this blog) if there is anybody  from Canada  that is following this blog and had same kind of injury.
Most of the blogs that i read online seem to be from the US and it really takes a lot longer for them to get into the boot after a surgery than for us here in Canada. Of course there is  no chance that all Achilles tendon ruptures are the same and I'm sure they will not be    treated      the same way.
Please post your experiences with this injury and treatment you received or somebody you know.
I also wanted to know if i need physio after all this, because my surgeon doesn't think so ( or i misunderstood him ).
You know, one thing everybody is saying is " Don't push it ! This type of injury takes a long time to heal".
Well, what exactly is pushing  it !?!?
I don't have any pain, i dumped pain killers 2 days after the surgery, i can move my toes with no problems and there is small foot movement, also without any pain!!! ( yeah , i take my boot sometimes during the day and try all this things :)) ) Wait, is that maybe "pushing it " everybody is talking about :)))) i  hope not.
Yeah, i almost forgot
on Sep. 27 i have another appointment with my surgeon and i would really apreciate if i can get any feedback before that?
 Thanks

Taking it easy with blogging :))

Just want to apologize to all my fans( all 1 of them :)  , for taking it easy with blogging last couple of days. I really started to hate watching TV (except when there is soccer on it)  ,but there was a lot of soccer the last couple of days.
My primary focus of this blog was my injury, but  right now ,nothing is really happening. My leg is still in that aircast boot and is going to remain like that  till at least Sep. 27 when i suppose to see my surgeon , Dr. Dunlop(great guy).
Today is exactly 4 weeks since my injury and  i can't help but to realize that my patience is running out( never had enough of it anyways).
Even my 1 year old started walking before me :)))))  ( the best baby ever).
I also think i added some kilograms to my gladiator body, but i don't understand how is that possible ?!?!
(If my wife is reading this , she is probably dying by now -  love you sunshine :)  )
For all of you out there anxiously waiting for my new posts, i have to warn you, there is going to lots of soccer coming up this week -starting Tuesday, but there is  small chance  that i will post my highlights of the day by Monday evening. :)))))))))))))))
wow it is 02:44 am , i think i should go to bed . Good night

Achilles tendon rupture

Hi everybody,
I had a Achilles tendon rupture about 3 weeks ago playing soccer. I wish i could tell you i was trying to do something spectacular ,but that just wasn't the case :)))
I had a surgery 3 days after that and everything looks very promising. After 12 days i had my cast taken of and now I'm in aircast boot for about  a week now.
My surgeon said i can slowly try to put some weight on my injured foot , but I'm so scared because of the all the horror stories that I'm reading online.
This injury was the main thing i started this, because i know i had a lot of  questions about this injury and  other people blogs helped a lot with the answers( but i had to do something with my time, you can only watch so much TV :)))
